Beginning power hammer
Realize the potential of your power hammer.
This class will focus on free hand forging under the power hammer, exploring how the metal moves under the various dies and how to control where these metals move.
Each student will produce a series of elements that illustrate different forging techniques and will also use the techniques to create products.
Because the class sizes are small, each student will receive the attention needed to realize the potential of your power hammer.
9:00am Friday until Saturday evening.

Contempory Archetectual Forging (Designing beyond the scroll)
Students will explore various ways to create tabs, rosettes, pickets, cap rail, fasteners, and tenons.
Using a combination of power hammer and hand hammer techniques. From this class, students will be able to offer potential customers one of kind designs.

Repousse Class (Hand and power)
This class will focus on utilizing air tools and hand tools to create forms in metal through raising and chasing. Students will learn how to create different type of raising and chasing tools for a hand held air hammer. The students will also be shown how to work in a larger scale and how to control the movement of the metal through the combination of localized heat and repousse` tools.
Come with an open mind and experience the possibilities that the material has to offer.
